Founder's Day

I know that I am a little late getting these posted, but the pictures are still fun nonetheless! So, last November we celebrated Founder's Day. The theme was "Memories Strengthen Our Bond." Everyone brought their paddles if they still had them, or a memento from their days as a collegiate. We had a wonderful time playing "show and tell," learning of some of the traditions that different chapters enjoy and remembering favorite times with our sisters from years past. We also took up an ornament collection (as we do every year) for the Children's Oncology and Hematology Association Christmas tree which our chapter sponsors. The chapter really outdid itself with all of the ornaments and monetary donations. I know the children really look forward to those ornaments, and we were happy to do it another year!

Delta Dinner Nights

This is a picture from one of our Delta Dinner Night's. This was the one that happened September 12th at El Tesoro downtown. This is a new event we just started doing this year. Once a month, we meet for dinner at a different location around town. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know your sisters better while enjoying a great meal. We notify everyone about the next dinner night via email, so get your name on the list if you haven't had a chance to do so yet! Contact Sally at sdcreely@comcast.net, or Susan at sjsdance@aol.com. The November dinner night is TBD, but mark the December Delta Dinner Night on your calendar! It will take place December 5, at 5:30 at Biaggi's Ristorante at the Shops at Briargate. We hope that you will either wrap up, or kick off your Christmas shopping trip by having dinner with us. Hope to see you there!

Welcome new little Tri Delta Baby!

Last August, the officers met to stuff newsletters and to throw a surprise baby shower for Liz Wilson (serving as our VP Programming for the next 2 years). The pictures posted are from the shower. Liz and her husband Eddy have been anxiously awaiting their little girl's arrival. Finally, Annika Delaney Wilson arrived on October 13, 2007 at 6pm! She weighed 8 lb, 9 oz, and was 21 inches long. She was born at Evans US Army Hospital, and Liz and Eddy couldn't be more thrilled. For those of you who plan to be at Founder's Day, if all goes well, Annika will be joining us. I know we all can't wait to meet her and watch her grow!! Congratulations to the Wilson's!!

Welcome Back!

Hello fellow Tri Deltas! Welcome back to another year. We are trying a new website (or "blog") this year to keep up with one another. We will be posting pictures and other fun stuff from our events on this page. Also, on the left, you can see a link to Tri Delta's InCircle, and our calendar for your reference as well.
